- By confirming the booking process, you authorize Hotel Colinas del Sol to charge the total amount of the booking to your credit card.
- Accommodation must be paid in advance, either via payment gateway (subject to additional fees) or any of the credit/debit cards accepted by the hotel. Hotel management reserves the right to process payments under other terms.
- It is mandatory to present identification and the card linked to the payment of the reservation at the time of check-in as stipulated by law 8968 on data protection.
- If you encounter any issues with your credit card transaction during the booking process, you will not be able to continue. In this case, you will need to register a new card to receive confirmation, which will only be valid once the deposit has been verified.
- The result of your transaction payment will appear on your statement under the name of Hotel Colinas del Sol (PAUL Y VARGAS DE ATENAS SOCIEDAD DE RESPONSABILIDAD LIMITADA).
Guest Check-In and Check-Out at the Hotel
- Check-in (Entry at 2:00 pm)
- Information required for admission:
- ID card or passport.
- Debit/Credit Card (if applicable)
- Mobile Number
- Check-out (Departure at 11:00 am)
- Hand over the key and pool cloths at reception.

Early Check In
- From 8:00am to 2:00pm (There is an additional fee), in conjunction with the reservation for the following night.
- Subject to availability.
Late Check Out
- After 11:00am until 6:00pm (applying an additional fee), after 6pm the full night rate will be charged.
- Subject to availability.
- If you do not check out by 11:00 pm, you will have to pay a late check-out fee.
Early Departure Policy
- If the guest leaves before the final reserved date, the full amount of the remaining stay will be charged.
- You are given the courtesy to reschedule any unused nights within one month from the date of check-out.
- Subject to availability.
Cancellation and Refund Policies
- The non-refundable fare does not apply any type of refund.
- Cancellations will be effective from the moment we receive written notification via email to our Reservations department at info@hotelcolinasdelsol.com or through our WhatsApp number 506 8947 0672, and this notification is confirmed as received by our hotel. If a refund is applicable, it will be processed according to our policies, which are detailed below:
Refundable/Flexible Rate
- The customer can cancel the reservation free of charge up to 2 days before the arrival date.
- The customer will have to pay the price of the first night if they cancel within 48 hours of the arrival date (this does not apply to the NON-REFUNDABLE rate).
Non-Refundable Fee
- Cancellations or no-shows will result in a 100% charge of the total reservation amount.
- The customer will have to pay the full price in advance to confirm the booking.
Special Dates Policies
- Special Season (Holy Week and the last week of the year)
- Full payment is required 30 days prior to the check-in date for all reservations without exception.
Reservation Modifications:
- You can modify your reservation once it has been made, 3 days or more before check-in.
- Under the same booking conditions and room type.
- For the same price or higher than your original reservation, as applicable.
- Upgrade: You can inquire about a higher-priced room, subject to availability.
Billing
Non-Refundable
- If you require electronic invoicing, you must provide the necessary information required by the tax authorities to generate it at the time of payment. Contact us for more information.
- If the data required by the tax authorities is not provided within 24 hours, an electronic ticket will be generated.
- The invoice will be for the entire stay, including the type of meal plan selected.
Refundable / Flexible
- If you require an electronic invoice, it will be issued on the day of check-in.
Other policies
- Hotel Colinas del Sol reserves the right to remove any person or guest from the property due to immoral, illegal, or harmful behavior.
- According to Law 7899, Law 9095 and Law 8590, prostitutes and/or unregistered guests are not allowed in hotel rooms.
- According to laws 9028 and 10066, please note that Costa Rica is a smoke-free and vaping-free country. Smoking is not permitted on hotel premises by law.
- Guests who do not respect these policies will be politely asked to leave without any refund.
Child
- At all times they must be accompanied and supervised by at least one of their parents or guardians.
- Children up to 6 years old share a room with their parents for free.
- Children over 6 years old pay the adult rate.
Additional aspects
- I agree that Hotel Colinas del Sol will not be liable in the event of natural disasters, fire, blockades, government orders, or any other circumstances beyond our control.
- Privacy Policy - Hotel Colinas del Sol is committed to maintaining the strictest confidentiality regarding all information related to our guests, internally. Information you enter on our website will not be disclosed to any other party. This information will be for the exclusive use of Hotel Colinas del Sol, under penalty of law.
